The action was rising as the deput show defiance was underway live from the asylum house in miami florida and to kick the show off, the owner of the asylum, mr norton came out with hardcore champion the gatekeeper and generation x

Mr Norton: Alright, well as you all know the last time you saw me i was at ringside costing shane bentley his match against chris koas and for those who are wondering, well quite frankly its none of your business why i did it, the simple answer i will give you is you cross me and you will pay, so moving on, after seeing what transpired at the king of the mat, tonight ive decided to shake things up a bit so right here tonight in this ring, it will be the gatekeeper in a non title matchup against chris koas (fans cheer loudly) and ive decided that tonight wont be the night richard ramsley gets his title shot, instead he will face mike debiese jr (Diamonds music hits)

James: Norton, well well my friend, it looks like two boys arent by your side here tonight and well considering im back to holding the title that was stolen from me, ive decided that since ramsley doesnt get the shot tonight, why not me (Fans errupt)

Mr Norton: Are you saying you think you deserve a shot at the asylum championship

James: Yes and i am and its about time for it too

Mr Norton: Its about time for nothing for you sir, how dare you come out here and interrupt me (Fans boo loudly) ill tell you what thought, how about tonight you put your money where your mouth is

James: How so

Mr Norton: Its gonna be a first time ever in the history of the asylum that the world title and the us title will be defended in the same match, cuz its gonna be james diamond, the us champion, teaming up with cj lethal, the asylum champion squaring off against generation x and both titles will be on the line right here tonight (Fans cheer loudly) oh and heres the best part, all your friends are bared from ringside, if anyone does get involved, i will not only strip you of that title but i will suspend you forever

James: You know if theres one thing the cult lives by, its a challenge and let me say this norton, you can try and bring back a group like the nwo and be as dominant as those guys were, but you will never kill the cult cuz we are always gonna be around, so you get your boys ready cuz in the words of a great icon, its hardcore or nothing bitch (Diamonds music hits as he heads out)

(Norton and the nwo leave thereafter)

Opening Bout : Blaze vs Bill Cutting
Cutting got on the mic and told blaze that at king of the mat he had his chance at the middleweight championship and lost the match, so tonights match shouldnt be happening, blaze kicked cutting in the jaw and knocked him down, blaze was gonna go for the cover but for some reason ray gordy got on the apron and got the refs attention, blaze didnt see it coming but the kid came off the ropes and caught blaze and drove him hard into the mat with a ddt, the kid rolled out and ducked as gordy jumped down, the ref turned around and saw cutting just drap his arm over blaze for the three count, afterward generation x pulled cutting out and helped him to the back

Non Title Match: The Wakeman Foundation vs The Russians
Vladmir and Noose worked well against issac and jason, but a fatal mistake by noose cost the russians as jason was able to tag in issac who came in and dropkicked vladmir off the apron but it took a bit to get noose until jason entered the match again by coming off the top turnbuckle with a dropkick to finally drop the monster, then issac came off the turnbuckle with a leg drop across the neck, went for the cover but only a two count, vladmir was back up and entered the ring and grabbed issac after he got up and lift him up and drove him into the mat with a belly to back suplex, Noose then got up and jason came in to stop them and noose leveled him with a big boot, Noose then lifted issac and vladmir held onto him as noose came off the topres for the kick and issac moved and noose hit vladmir and then noose turned back around and issac hit him with the superkick, but it rocked him only, so issac hit it again and noose went down hard, issac hooked both legs...123 and the foundation scored the pinfall

Sheldon: What a night we got going so far here on defiance, but right now lets bring out the 2008 king of the mat, ladies and gentlemen, Richard Ramsley

(Ramsleys music hits as richard comes out)

Sheldon: Richard welcome to definace

Richard: Its great to be out here sheldon, i gotta say that being the king of the mat isnt something i won so easily, i worked my butt off for it

Sheldon: That you did, but earlier tonight im sure you heard mr norton make the announcement

Richard: Yea i did actually and i gotta say im not surprised, norton has never liked when the cult was so close to getting a shot at the asylum championship, i mean hell look at what happened to eddie saint james, he never got a fair shot, but thats not gonna go down with me, cuz tonight i will walk into that match with mike debiese and whoop his ass and then make my move for the asylum

(Blades music hits)

Sheldon: What are you

Blade: Look richard, i know you got all these fans cheering for you, but the facts are simple, yo got lucky even to be in the final, it shouldnt of went down like that, i should of just been given the match, its not my fault that dart lost, but no i got screwed, i was forced to face you, i wasnt ready, so i think its only fair that you give me a rematch next week right here on defiance for a shot at the asylum championship, unless your scared

Richard: You know kid, i know you havent hit hard yet in the asylum and your trying to use me as your way of getting notice and i dig that, but i gotta say that your an idiot if you wanna face me again, cuz i will say this, i wont hold back like i did at king of the mat

Blade: Ill tell you what, how about you bring everything you got next

(Nowinskis music hits)

Chris: First off, im the general manager around here, so i make the matches and since you two wanna tangle up again in a rematch i can understand, but this time its not gonna be just a match, its gonna be an official #1 contenders match with the contract hanging high above the ring, cuz your match next week will be a ladder match, so may the best man win

Sheldon: Alright, so it looks like next week, ramsley and blade one more time in a ladder match for a #1 contenders contract for the asylum championship, with this being said, lets heads back down to the ring for more action

Rex Redford vs Sgt Corral
Corral was accompanied by the yard boss, the manager of the dockland destroyer, but it didnt both redford as he got his hands on corral and got him into the turnbuckle and began choking him with his boot, then ripped the sgts shirt and slapped him hard across the chest, then sent the sgt to the ropes and caught him with a vicious boot to the face, the yard boss was looking worried and got on the apron and got redfords attention but only for a bit as corral was trying to come from behind and redford turned and stopped corral in his tracks as corral begged for mercy and dropped to his knees and redford came in and corral low blowed redford hard causing the ref to ring the bell for a dq, the yard boss then went and grabbed a chair and tossed it into the ring, corral then picked it up and was about to hit redford when manchild came charging into the ring and went right after corral but corral was able to slip out of the ring and away from manchild as the bizarre manchild yelled and screamed and began pulling his hair as manchilds theme music hits

US & ASYLUM CHAMPIONSHIP DEFENSE
Challengers...Generation X vs CJ Lethal & James Diamond
This match had the fans on the seat of their chairs as the challengers really stood no chance against dianond and lethal who pretty much dominated the entire match, however at one point in the match the kid and gordy went for the x factor, but lethal came up behind gordy on the turnbuckle and belly to back suplexed him down hard to the mat, the kid jumped down and went after lethal but lethal caught him with a boot that knocked the kid down, but he got back up and diamond came flying off the turnbuckle and grabbed the kid by the head on the way down into the final extinction, diamond then hooked the leg and scored the pinfall as diamond and lethal retained the us and asylum championship, but the staredown accured as diamond pointed at the asylum championship but lethal showed no fear and held the title up high as his music hit and he left

(The Lad came out)

Lad: We are getting down to the main event here soon folks, but i came out here to announce that general manager chris nowinski has put together a hell of a match next week here on defiance as manchild will face sgt corral in a first blood match, so that will join the other sceduled match between richard ramsley and blade in a ladder match for number one contendership for the asylum championship, so dont miss next weeks show as its shaping up to be a good one, so lets head back down to ringside for more action, as dont forget coming up soon, chris koas in his first match since returning to the asylum against the ahrdcore champion, the gatekeeper in a non title match.

Richard Ramsley vs Mike Debiese Jr
As ramsley came into the ring, mike attacked him in the early goings as he kicked the rope as ramsley entered the ring and then came off the ropes and dropkicked ramsley hard through the ropes, mike didnt waste anytime and followed ramsley to the floor, he picked up ramsley and tossed him hard into the rail, mike then got on the apron and came off right onto ramsley, debiese began to taunt the crowd and rolled back in to stop the count, then went back to the floot and kicked ramsley hard in the gut, the fans were yelling at mike who smiled and got more boos, debiese then went over and grabbed some cable wires and began choking ramsley with them, then pushed ramsley face first into the floor and rolled back into the ring to once again stop the count, then roled back up and lifted ramsley and placed him over the rail and began choking him this way, then mike moved away and then came flying in and landed hard on ramsley, debiese certainly didnt stop there as he rolled ramsley back into the ring and got on the top turnbuckle and as ramsley began to get up, mike came off with a dropkicked that pushed ramsley hard into the turnbuckle as he tumbled to the floor, mike smiled and looked around and then called for a microphone

Mike: Now if this is what a king of the mat is here in the asylum, i guess that would make be the god of the mat

Mike then took the microphone wire and began chokin ramsley, the ref started to count and mike didnt release as the ref called for the bell and dqed debiese, mike didnt care as he held on, just then blade came down and got mike out of the ring finally as he stood tall and actually called for mike to come back in, but mike just raised his arms up and headed backstage, blade stayed and helped ramsley up as the crowd began to cheer but then blade lifted ramsley onto his shoulders and then went running and slammed him hard to the mat with the slicer, to the disbelief of the crowd, blade stood over his fallen oppnoent as his music hit as the boos began to be heard

MAIN EVENT
Chris Koas vs The Gatekeeper
Chris hit the ring as the gatekeeper met him in the middle of the ring and the two quickly went to blows, chris tough latched on and took the gatekeeper down to the mat and continued to just send rights and lefts but the gatekeeper pushed chris off him and rolled out of the ring but chris followed him and came up from behind and hit the gatekeeper and then rammed his head into the ring post, chris then grabbed him and slammed him head first onto the stairs, the fans were loving this as chris sent the gatekeeper to the rail but the gatekeeper reversed it and chris went sailing hard into it, the gatekeeper then rolled in to stop the count, the gatekeeper then went over and placed his foot into chris and choked him, then sent chris into the ring and then rolled back in and got chris up into the turnbuckle and rammed his shoulders hard into chris's gut, then rammed his knees into the gut, then sent chris to the opposite turnbuckle so hard that chris bounced out of it and fell down hard to the mat, the gatekeeper then came down with an elbow across the back of koas, then placed koas in a rare chin lock, pulling back trying to get koas to submit, but koas fought and didnt give up and the gatekeeper then rammed his arm hard into the chest of chris, he tummbled down the gatekeeper then began to pace himself and went back over and just slapped chris across the head a few times and then kicked him in the head, gatekeeper signaled it was over and raised his arm and waited for chris to get up and when chris did, he grabbed chris by the throat and lifted him up but chris fought out of it as he kicked the gatekeeper and he released the grip then chris came off the ropes and ran into a boot that knocked him down hard, the gatekeeper went for the pin,...1..2....no, koas kicked out, the gatekeeper was getting pist as he got up again and called for it again and chris got up and the gatekeeper went for the grip but koas caught the arm and faught it and pushed it and came off the ropes and the gatekeeper went for the boot but koas ducked and then as the gatekeeper turned, chris drilled him with the spear, the crowd errupted as koas went for the cover and in came generation x as they jumped all over koas as the ref called for the bell and disqualification, the fans booed loudly as generation x finally got a worn down koas up as the gatekeeper leveled him with the hardcore title to his head, then got chris back up and grabbed him by the throat and lifted him up for the 1000 chrous choke slam and down he went to the mat, the nwo theme as the kid pulled out a can of black spray paint and then spraypainted the letters of the nwo over his back as the boos continued as generation x and the hardcore champion, the gatekeeper raised their hands in victory as the show came to a close.
