Fans were very entertained to a dark match featuring new comer eddie james against chris murdock, james came to the ring with some female, eddie was awesome against murdock who really give much of a match against saint james who ended the match by a devasting combination he calls the death to humanity, hooked the leg and scored the victory in his deput in a asylum ring

Devue controlled the match halfway through until spencer was able to fight his way back into the match, devue did connect with his finisher that he still hasnt named, but it wasnt enough as moments later devue was pist and arguing with the ref and it allowed spencer time to regroup and chris came over and got caught by spencer with the blackout right to the jaw, spencer hooked the leg and the victory

The european champion took it right to ross from the get go, but the crafty ross brought ryan down by taking out his legs, to keep him from using the five star, but later in the match while ross was in trouble, ian and holden both came down, ian came in first and got thrown right back out of the ring by ryan, holden came in with a chair and went right after ryan, but ryan did the splits to duck and holden nailed ross, ryan then tossed holden out and with all his effect, climbed the ropes and nailed ross with the five star, hooked the leg and scored the victory

Bishop studied rex from the get go and tried to keep rex away from him by using his speed to maintain the match in his speed, but then bishop was taking too long on the top rope and rex got up and went over and nailed bishop down, then rex climbed up there with him and to the shock of the crowd, rex grabbed bishop and landed a move he calls the redford driver, boom they hit the mat and the fans errupted into holy shit chants as the ref recorded the three count

Horace the Freak vs Taz
Horace went right after taz outside of the ring, but it didnt take taz long to just turn the tables and throw horace head first into the steel steps, taz rolled horace in the ring and worked very long on his shoulder and later on in the match taz hooked the tazmission, horace fought and fought and couldnt do anything to get out, but the fans were cheering and cheering and horace continued to fight and fought his way back up and pushed backward into the turnbuckle, again and again, and then turned and fell backward hard, taz actually released the hold, horace rolled into the corner and holding his shoulder was watching as taz was getting up and then like a bullet came charging in with the freak attack, drilled taz, horace with no hesitation hooked the leg as dick johnson recorded the three count, the fans errupted into cheers

Horace reentered the ring still holding that shoulder and that was the focus point of pat spencer who was taking it to horace, but spencer messed up and went for a high risk and was caught by horace and turned it into a power slam, but only got a two count, however it wasnt long before spencer got back on the offense and right beofre you saw it coming, spencer nailed horace with the blackout, and referee thomas opdyke counted the three

Lad: I told you sheldon, i told you from the beginning it was gonna be pat spencer and now here we are and spencers one match away from becoming the king of the mat
Sheldon: That victory though wasnt as good as it should had, wait a minute, what the hell is this

Redford and ryan hooked up and ryan pretty much tried to do what bishop did and use his quickness to maintain the match against redford and it was working for a while until ryan tried a high risk move and redford caught him and drove him into the mat with the redford driver, hooked the leg and the victory

Now tonight i cant promise you a three count if you should get that for, but i will promise this for god damn sure, i will walk out of detroit drinking beer, having a good time and making sure that your ass is not the asylum champion and thats all i got to say about that

TRIPLE THREAT/ASYLUM CHAMPIONSHIP
Slayer vs Angelic (C) vs Triple H
SPECIAL GUEST REFEREE : Jimmy Justice
The match started out with angelic and slayer going after the game who rolled out of the ring, angelic and slayer then started to pound on each other, this brought the game back in, the match was pretty mellow for a while until it was triple h who brought in a chair and was going right after angelic but got a face full of boot, slayer then grabbed the chair and smacked angelic hard over the head with it. Later on hunter brought in a table and drove angelic straight through the table with the pedigree, but hunter was out just as much and couldnt make the cover, slayer finally made his way back into the match after angelic tossed him into the ring post, hunter was getting up and slayer clotheslined him over the ropes. Slayer then had the chair and as angelic got up, slayer smacked angelic once again with the chair and then drove him into the chair with a ddt that busted the champion open. Slayer never did capalize on it, but later in the match triple h was also busted open by catching a shot of the chair to his head. Meanwhile up till now justice didnt involve himself but as triple h was setting up slayer for the pedigree on the chair, justice came over and smacked triple h in the head with the chair, hunter tumbled back and slayer clotheslined him over the ropes and to the floor, angelic was then coming in and slayer ducked, grabbed angelic and lifted him up and drove him into the mat with the crucifix to hell, justice got down and made the 1...2....and....3.....the bell sounded as fans actually cheered as justice rolled out of the ring as slayers music hit and justice came back into the ring with the asylum championship and raised slayers hand as slayers raised the asylum championship in the other hand
Howard: Here is your winner and new asylum champion, slayer
Lad: We have got a new asylum champion sheldon, tell me you didnt think that was gonna happen
Sheldon: I thought for sure triple h was actually gonna take it there for a second lad
Lad: Finally after over a year and a half slayer has finally done what he set out to do and that was to capture the asylum championship and finally defeat angelic
Sheldon: Well he did beat angelic one two three didnt he
Lad: He sure did sheldon and he did it fair and square
Sheldon: No arguement out of me there lad, fans we are now moments away from crowning a new king of the mat right here tonight
Lad: And dont forget the winner of tonights match gets a shot at the new asylum champion slayer at locked up
Sheldon: Wow what if redford pulled it off lad, what would that do for his early career here in the asylum

KING OF THE MAT
Pat Spencer vs Rex Redford
This was probably the match of the evening folks as this match went 15 and a half minutes, spencer and redford put fourth one of the greatest matches ever as spencer early in the mat drilled redford with the blackout but didnt catch all of it and only got a two count, but later on redford drilled spencer twice with the redford driver, both times spencer got an arm and leg on the ropes to break the count. Later in the match spencer went for the blackout again but redford this time ducked it and turned around kicked spencer in the gut, pulled him in for another redford driver, but spencer got out of it, dropped down and nailed redford in the face with the blackout, and busting him wide open but spencer wasnt able to jump on redford for the pin, then the match saw redford going to the outside and losing his footing and took a nasty spill to the floor, spencer then rolled him in and began working on the leg, he also placed rex into the sharpshooter but still redford wouldnt give, however neither would spencer as redford nailed him with yet a third redford driver, but the ref only recorded a two and a half as spencer got an arm up, who would win, who could pull it off folks and heres the finish as spencer was full of energy and was tuning it up, redford was getting up and in came spencer with another blackout, redford ducked, went to grab spencer, but spencer pulled out of it and went against the ropes, and leaped onto redford who caught him and was gonna slam him down, but instead lifted him up over into a powerbomb postition and went running and drove spencer hard into the mat with a fourth redford driver, referee thomas opdyke got down and counted...1.....2.......3.....the bell sounded as the fans errupted and thomas lifted redfords arm up high as a place for my head played loudly as ballons and confetti came falling down as redford celebrated a victory that nobody saw coming
Lad: I just cant believe that finish there sheldon it was crazy
Sheldon: No matter what lad, spencer gave it his all but at locked up its gonna be that man rex redford against slayer for the asylum championship and you wont wanna miss it
